Unfolding Visions: The Ned and Jacqueline Crouch Collection of Outsider Art

This spring and fall, the Mabel Larson Gallery will be housing an exquisite collection of folk and outsider art, donated by Ned and Jacqueline Crouch. The exhibit will include works by Herbert Baggett, Miles Smith, Inez Nathaniel and many more artists. The works featured are varying in media, from stoneware and wood carvings to paintings and drawings.

Everyone is invited to visit the opening reception on April 18th from 5 to 7pm. We hope that you will get a chance to stop by and share the experience of this exquisite collection.

About Paul Collins

Paul Collins is an assistant professor of art and gallery director at Austin Peay State University. Paul makes drawings, paintings and sculpture that combine humor, tactility and observation to examine the world around us. Paul has an mfa from Yale and has been a resident at Skowhegan, Anderson Ranch Arts Center and the Vermont Studio Center. Paul is an enthusiastic collaborator and has curated shows or organized artist projects for a wide range of artists including James Surls, Betty Woodman, Liz Ferrill, Danielle Genadry, Paul Jacobsen, Mala Iqbal, Kenny Scharf, David Humphrey, Charles Long, Michael Kreuger, Jason Rogenes, Kim Dickey, and Takashi Nakazato.
