The Framemaker proudly presents artists Rian Barger, Jon Chisholm, Synthia Clark, Amanda Flowers and Kathryn Griffin as part of Clarksville’s First Thursday Art Walk on Thursday, November 3, 2011. An opening reception will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The exhibit, titled “Foresight,” will remain on display at the Framemaker throughout the month of November during normal business hours (Mon. through Fri. 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.).

Each year, the Austin Peay State University photography students are showcased at the Framemaker. The theme of the 2011 exhibit celebrates the person as a photographic subject. The group show explores a variety of visual and psychological themes: from the stranger as subject to the body as abstract figure. Artist Rian Barger states, “I took over a thousand photos of eyes…the five I chose (for the show) have a different feel, a different look, a different meaning.”

The Framemaker is located at the corner of North Second Street and Georgia Avenue, across from The Clarksville Academy.
